Rose Care Instructions Guide |

Maximize the Life & Beauty of your Fresh Cut Roses by Following These Simple Steps:
|
1. CLEAN the vase to minimize bacteria.
2. Use LUKEWARM water. Warm water (about 100-110F) is easier for flowers to soak up. Fill the vase ¾ full.
3. ADD FLOWER FOOD as the directions on the packet indicate. Flower food does some key things. Aside from providing nutrients, flowers food kills bacteria and balances the pH levels.

|
5. REMOVE OUTER LAYER OF PETALS. The outer layer of guard petals have been left on for shipping, they are meant to protect the under layers of the bloom.
6. GIVE STEMS A FRESH CUT. Cut approximately 1” off the bottom of each stem on an angle while submerged in water. Cutting a fresh edge in water prevents an air bubble from forming at the base of the stem, which can make it more difficult for flowers to absorb water. Cutting on angle provides the largest surface area for the stem to drink water.

|
7. WATER!!! Once freshly cut, place into water immediately! Getting your flowers into water is the most important step and should be done as soon as possible! Check the water level every day to make sure the vase is ¾ full.
8. REPEAT these steps every 3 days.
9. Display your flowers in a cool, dry place. Do not exhibit them in direct sunlight drafts or extreme temperatures. They should be away from heating and cooling devices or appliances that give off heat. Temperature is crucial to a flower’s lifespan, heat dehydrates flowers.

10. Keep away from ripening fruit. Ripening fruit emits ethylene and will shorten the life of your flowers.
11. GIVE ROSES A MAKE OVER by removing discolored or drooping roses. Even after days you can instantly give your roses a new look.
12. IF YOUR ROSES WILT submerge the entire rose underwater for 30-60 minutes. Give them a fresh cut following the directions in step 6 and then place them into a vase.
